Battlefield Data Lab

This interactive tool enables you to search through OCR-processed Bulletins from the Combined Document Exploitation Center (CDEC) and visualize the results via a knowledge graph.

Founded in 1966 under the U.S. Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV), CDEC was established to process captured documents from the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) and the National Liberation Front (NLF). The CDEC Bulletins provide intelligence summaries of these exploited documents. By searching through these Bulletins, you can gain an overview of the contents of the captured documents.
