Yefeng Ma

Yefeng Ma is an associate professor and the deputy director of the Digital Economy Division at the Institute of Quantitative and Technological Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in China. Her research focuses on the digital economy, technology innovation, and digital governance, with a specific emphasis on the digital transformation of industries, the development of the gig economy, and the impact of artificial intelligence on employment. Before her current role, Ma was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University from 2015 to 2017. Ma obtained her PhD in Safety Science and Technology from Tsinghua University in 2015. She was a Ph.D. student fellow at the Ash Center of Harvard Kennedy School from 2012 to 2013.
