Jason Wang

Jason is a graduate of Harvard University with a Master in Public Administration (MPA) degree and a certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences (MLD). He also completed additional coursework at MIT, co-producing a paper with the MIT Sloan School of Management on “Assessing the System and Capacities in ‘innovation driven entrepreneurial’ ecosystems.” His current research interest includes creating a bilateral US-China AI policy framework and strategy that optimizes for both countries to produce a win-win scenario from the AI tech race instead of win-lose.

He is currently the Special Projects Lead at HOF Capital, a global multistage Venture Capital firm with $2+ billion in AUM that partners with ambitious entrepreneurs from idea to IPO, where he manages and completes high-priority, high-value projects for HOF Capital, including projects related to recruiting, investing, portfolio company acceleration, community management, and brand-building.

Prior to joining HOF Capital, Jason served as a payroll manager at Google, where he ran core processes for Google’s US payroll operations and processed $5B+ of annual payroll disbursements for over 35,000 Google employees in the US. Before that, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Certified Public Accountant tax associate, where he prepared over 150 venture capital partnership tax returns.
