Selina Gong (MPP ’26) is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School whose research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and philosophy, with a particular focus on consciousness, understanding, subjectivity, and the broader implications of AI for governance and society. She served as a co-chair of the Harvard China Conference for three years (2024 – 2027), helping convene dialogue among policymakers, scholars, and industry leaders on China and global affairs. Her current research examines how different industrial and institutional structures shape the development, governance, and conceptualization of AI across national contexts.
