Join the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia for an insightful lunch discussion on “Rethinking UN Resolution 2758 and Taiwan’s International Participation” at 12pm on October 30, 2024. This timely event will feature Johnson Sen Chiang, Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) in the US, and Ryan Hass, Director of the Brookings Institution’s John L. Thornton China Center and former Director for China, Taiwan, and Mongolian Affairs at the White House National Security Council during the Obama administration. Moderated by Ash Center non-resident research fellow Wenchi Yu, an international affairs journalist with Taiwan-based TVBS television, the session will explore the complex challenges surrounding Taiwan’s international status and participation in global affairs. This event is co-sponsored by the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies.
