Online Event

Online event, registration required

Join the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia and the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies for a webinar on Taiwan’s recent presidential election, which earlier this month saw the Democratic Progressive Party’s Lai Ching-te capture the presidency. To understand what this means for the future of cross-straits relations as well as Taiwan’s relationship with the United States, we will hear from nonresident research fellow Wenchi Yu, an international affairs journalist with Taiwan-based TVBS television; and Eric Huang, a former spokesperson for the opposition KMT party and current Mid-Career Masters of Public Affairs student at the Kennedy School. This discussion will be moderated by Rajawali Institute Director and Daewoo Professor of International Affairs Tony Saich.
