Wenjian Li

Wenjian Li is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of International and Public Affairs, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his B.A. in International Politics from Nanjing University in 2022. His research interests lie in International Relations and Comparative Politics, with a particular focus on the political economy of economic and technological development. His work has appeared in the Asian Review of Political Economy, World Economics and Politics (in Chinese), and Journal of International Security Studies (in Chinese). Li’s recent research examines the political economy of the entrepreneurial state, exploring why some countries are more adaptable in shifting innovation models and fostering cutting-edge technologies through tech startups.
