Desheng Wu is a Ph.D. candidate from the School of International and Public Affairs at Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU). He is also the Ph.D. candidate in China Institute for Urban Governance.
His academic pursuits revolve around energy, environmental policy, and digital governance. Within these spheres, he delves into China’s energy market reform, transportation policy (new energy vehicle subsidies, driving restrictions), smart city policy, digital transformation, and other expansive areas of interest. He has published several papers in international journals, including Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, Sustainable Cities and Society, and Energy. At the same time, he is very open to networking and collaborating with researchers with the same and cross-cutting research interests.
