Jiaxin Feng is a Ph.D. Candidate in the School of Marxism, Peking University and received her BA in Sociology(major) and History(minor) from Peking University. Specializing in CCP’s organization building and rural governance, she has published 6 articles in journals such as Social Sciences of Beijing (CSSCI) and China Rural Studies (CSSCI).
Recently, her research has mainly focused on the policy changes and social networks of rural commune industry in China during the 1960s and 1970s, with the aim of reviewing the uniqueness of China’s institutional design and industrialization model. Additionally, she has a strong interest in using interdisciplinary approaches from the social sciences to explore modern Chinese history. She is enthusiastic to collaborate with researchers with the same academic interests.
