Jingyi Tao

Tao Jingyi is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration at the School of Government, Peking University (PKU). She holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.B.A. from the Guanghua School of Management at PKU. Tao has served as an assistant researcher in the Department of International Affairs at the Tencent Research Institute and the Data Research Center of CAICT.

Her research interests encompass grassroots governance, government response, and market regulation. Her recent research centers on the regulation of cross-border e-commerce platforms, exploring the balance between enterprise development and government regulation with attention to the interests of various stakeholders. Tao is also dedicated to integrating practical issues with theoretical insights, particularly in abstracting and analyzing public behavior and governance through a philosophical lens.
