Renee Ko

Renee Ko is a recent graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Mid-Career MPA program, where her research focused on philanthropy among Chinese ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family governance, family office policy, impact investment, and ESG practices.

Prior to joining HKS and the Ash Center, Renee amassed over 16 years of experience in the banking sector, specializing in family office advisory. She has held senior positions at UBS in New York and China Merchants Bank in China. Renee earned a PhD from the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University, an MPA from Columbia University, and a B.A. from Peking University.
