Ruoyan Zhu is a Ph.D. candidate from the School of Government at Peking University. She is majoring in Public Policy and has obtained her M.A. in International Public Policy and a B.A. in International Politics, both from Fudan University.

Ruoyan’s research interests lie in the area of innovation policy, ranging from indigenous innovation to government-business relations and industrial policies. Her recent research focuses on the policy process of China’s indigenous innovation policy, shedding light on the paradigmatic shifts within technology policy. She is also interested in understanding the patterns and dynamics of international S&T cooperation and its far-reaching impact on the realm of innovation.
