Xiatian Zhang is a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Her research explores International Politics and Comparative Politics, probing the enduring questions of statehood, power, democracy, and human destiny within the AI age. Championing human autonomy and agency, she examines AI governance in China, the US, and the EU, striving to cultivate an open, safe, innovative, and sustainable global framework for AI cooperation.
Trained in Economics, Law, and Communication, she is licensed to practice law. Fascinated by wild creatures, she hopes humanity retains its wild essence within the coming dawn of human-machine symbiosis.
