Yan Li is a Senior Fellow at the department of Industrial Economy, Development Research Center of the State Council of China. She has long been engaged in industrial economy and industrial policy research. She is interested in the Adjustment of Industrial Structure and Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading in the process of Industrialization, New Industrial Revolution and Emerging Industries, Digital Economy, etc.
Her current research focuses on the Role of Industrial Policy in Promoting Innovation and the Development of Emerging Industries. Yan graduated from the School of Economics and Business Administration of Beijing Normal University with a Ph.D. in economics.
