Yixin Sun is a Ph.D. candidate from the School of International and Public Affairs at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Her substantive research interests include international political economy, international institutions and Japanese Studies. She focuses on the politics of state compliance with international “soft law” in finance. She is also interested in the evolution of the World Bank’s conditionality. Yixin holds a BA in Japanese and a MA in International Relations from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
