Yu Han is a Ph.D. Candidate from the School of Government at Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Yu’s research interests include family policy, welfare states, and East Asian welfare regimes. Her current research focuses on the evolution of family policies in China and their effects on women’s labor participation. Additionally, she engages in comparative research on family policies across East Asia, investigating how different policy settings shape gendered welfare regimes.
Yu holds an M.Sc. in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. in Public Affairs Administration from Beijing Normal University.
