Yunzhu Chen is a Ph.D. Candidate from the School of Public Policy & Management at Tsinghua University. Her research interests include U.S.-China relationship, Chinese and American politics, International Economics and Trade. Her current research focuses on the governance of global value chains and the structural contradiction between China and the US in the global value chain network. She was an in intern at the Center of International security and strategy in Tsinghua University.
She graduated from Peking University with a master’s degree in Journalism and Communication. She used to be a journalist at CCTV News Center in Beijing and reported live broadcast of the 40th anniversary of Reform and Opening up in 2018. She has rich experience in news interviews, hosting activities and tries to present compelling China stories.
